Weekend areas: events and exhibitions

le programme

Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March

Area 1 / LABANQUE, Gallery A and Galeries Frontière$ - EPSM

LABANQUE
: It will present its visual art space, current exhibitions and a luminous work by Visual System echoing the theme “Libérer la matière”. Ambroise & Victor's exhibition Intérieurs will feature large-format ink paintings exploring a dreamlike, naturalistic bestiary. Visual System's Chroniques exhibition will feature a light and sound installation revealing the memory of the site. An immersive work by Visual System will be shown on the stand, combining light and architecture.

Gallery A: Gallery A explores the theme of ‘Liberating matter’ through three artistic visions. Agathe Verschaffel captures every detail with striking hyperrealism, Caf suggests it through the interplay of lines and shapes, while Damien Bouchez sublimates the power of paper. Discover these unique approaches and attend Agathe Verschaffel's performance on 15 and 16 March.

Galeries Frontière$ - EPSM: Exploration of printmaking using recycled materials, in particular TETRA PAK, as a matrix. Chaque participant pourra inciser le support, encrer sa composition et l’imprimer sur papier grâce à une presse portative. The technique will combine engraving, collage and dyes, enabling materials to be superimposed and unique prints to be obtained.

Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March

Area 2 / Atelier 2

11am to 1pm - 2pm to 6pm

Atelier 2: The workshops will offer a resource area around a textile volume exhibited on the stand, designed by the school's Textile workshops with Louise Mazzola. Egg packaging will be used to explore the relationship between material and volume. Acrylic paint will be used on this support through an installation of fruit and vegetables, reproduced according to a chosen framing. Inspired by Cubism, this approach breaks down the image into several planes, offering different points of view and playing with the three-dimensionality of forms.

Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March

Area 3 / Le 111 des arts

Le 111 des arts: The space will highlight the theme of “Liberating matter” through “L'entrée en matière de la main”, exploring the role of touch in creation. The experience will take on a collaborative dimension, offering a moment of exchange around artistic creation and experimentation.

Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March

Area 4 / La Malterie and Polaris

La Malterie: Exhibition of works and meetings with artists Julie Everaert, Patrick Drut, Songlin Li, Thomas Moësl, Théo Romain-Sabota and Romain Compiègne.

Polaris: A showcase for public art schools in the Hauts-de-France region, with a display of students' work, screens presenting each establishment and an information area. Participatory workshops such as silkscreening and cyanotype will invite visitors to experiment with different practices. An area will showcase research projects and editions, including Multiplex II. Teachers and students will take part in round-table discussions and conferences on the challenges of art education.

Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March
