Artwork by the artist Wu Junyong
Interface
Wu Junyong, a multidisciplinary Chinese artist, wields dark humor and draws inspiration from shadow theater to critique authority and the absurdities of the world. His work Cloud’s Nightmare, printed and affixed to the wall, becomes interactive. Brushes and black acrylic paint are made available to visitors, allowing them to extend the artist’s creative momentum by actively participating. They take ownership of the space and leave their own mark. At the heart of the composition, a character surrenders to the freedom of imagination, letting a multitude of animal figures emerge from their mind. The viewer is invited to immerse themselves in this dreamlike and liberating universe, where imagination knows no bounds.

"The spirit is the truth of matter." – Hegel An evolving artwork that explores transformation and the individual act to reach another form of matter… a dream? The visitor is invited to interact with the material, to break a raw block—transgression?—and to touch the artwork to reveal a hidden substance. Matter, initially inert, becomes the receptacle of a gesture, an intention. Through the visitor’s action, it unveils a new form, a state in transition where spirit takes precedence over the apparent inertia of the material. Each strike releases a new aesthetic, and the visitor leaves with a piece of the artwork… a gift? A fragment of this revelation, where matter, under human impulse, unveils an unsuspected truth. A project carried out in collaboration with visual artist Quentin Carnaille.

Out of the Blue
Stand A6 / 7-8.30pm
Denis Santelli will host presentations detailing his artistic approach, from capturing plant images to transforming them into works integrated into spatial arrangements or paintings enriched with paint. His process begins with the digitization of natural elements, landscapes and sculptures, using photogrammetry or 3D scanning. These techniques enable him to obtain detailed digital models, whose polygonal mesh he preserves to reveal their digital structure. During his presentations, he will explain how he uses 3D software to recompose these shapes and integrate them into his creations.
