This passion naturally led him to visit museums, galleries and art fairs. His decisive meeting with Denis Hopper, legendary director and actor of Easy Rider, but also a renowned photographer, was a turning point. Hopper introduced him to private visits to prestigious institutions such as MoMA, the Met and the Whitney Museum.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, Eric Delecourt founded Acid Gallery. Two entities coexist there: DTTH (Don&#8217;t Trust The Hype), dedicated to established artists, and Acid Gallery, which focuses on emerging artists.<\/p>\n<p>OUR ASPIRATIONS<br \/>\n\u201cTo make our passion our profession, to make art accessible and to help discover new talent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Initially virtual, the gallery opened its doors in December 2018 at 11 rue de la Coll\u00e9giale, in Old Lille. Today, it has taken up residence in a unique and atypical location: a former chapel, housing over 500 works of art.
