For this edition, the gallery will present two new series never before shown in Lille: \u201cde la terre recluse\u201d and \u201cincandescences\u201d.
\nVincent Descotils was born in 1965. A photographer, visual artist, set designer and draughtsman, he lives and works in Brittany.
\nVincent Descotils’ photography is perhaps a matter of belief, within a game of discovery and escape.
\nVincent Descotils manipulates, violently kneads and caresses his images, half-emerging from sleep. His textural effects are a skin, sometimes rough, sometimes soft, the surface and sap of a body (of a gesture) that articulates itself according to the meanders of our memories.
