Marion Robert, jeune plasticienne form\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole sup\u00e9rieure des arts d\u00e9coratifs de Strasbourg, s\u2019\u00e9panouit dans la peinture et dans le dessin. Sa peinture, d\u00e9licatement color\u00e9e, se situe dans la descendance formelle des cubistes de la seconde g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u2013 les Villon et de La Fresnaye, notamment \u2013, mais dans un esprit r\u00e9solument contemporain. Des corps, souvent sans visage, r\u00e9duits \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tat de fant\u00f4me, se superposent et s\u2019entrem\u00ealent, \u00e9mergeant de fonds qui \u00e9voquent le magma originel ou cette gangue de conformit\u00e9, ce mode de pens\u00e9e unique dont il est si difficile de se d\u00e9gager. Ses dessins, mordants, caricaturaux, incisifs et caustiques, t\u00e9moignent d\u2019une r\u00e9elle capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 regarder le monde et \u00e0 en d\u00e9noncer les travers et les exc\u00e8s, tout en traduisant une r\u00e9elle sympathie, une \u00e9vidente compassion, pour ses d\u00e9fauts.
