Kallia Panopoulou (b. 1989 in Athens, Greece)
\nMy creative journey kicked off in London at Central Saint
\nMartins College of Art and Design, where I studied product
\ndesign.
\nDespite my formal education in product design, my heart was
\nalways drawn to the art of sculpture and the intricate hand-building process.
\nWhen I returned to Athens seven years ago, I embarked on a journey into the
\nworld of ceramics, under the guidance of two esteemed ceramic
\nteachers, Menandros Papadopoulos and Vangelis Magopoulos. It was during
\nthis transformative period that I realized my true passion lay in the art of
\nceramics.
\nWhat excites me most is the fusion of designing a product and bringing it to
\nlife with clay. Lately, my work draws inspiration from the natural elements
\nand textures of the seabed.
\nIn a nutshell, \u201cSea life is Earth\u2019s final frontier, and I\u2019m fascinated by the end-
\nless possibilities for artistic exploration through my creations.\u201d This sums up
\nmy deep connection to the sea, reflected in my recent ceramic pieces.
