Olivier Desvaux was born on May 12, 1982 in Rouen (France).<\/p>\n
After a year studying applied arts at the \u00c9cole Estienne in Paris, Olivier entered the \u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure des Arts D\u00e9coratifs in Paris, from which he graduated in 2006.<\/p>\n
Olivier is a member of the Taylor Foundation.<\/p>\n
He was appointed Peintre Officiel de la Marine (Official Painter of the French Navy) in 2018.<\/p>\n
Commissions
\nIn 2009, Olivier produced oil paintings commissioned by Jacques Garcia to decorate the Baldaquin Suite at La Mamounia in Marrakech.<\/p>\n
In 2011, he was selected to propose a painted decor project for the apse, nave and arcades of the church of Sainte Marie Majeure (a listed historical monument) in Bonifacio.<\/p>\n
As part of the French 1% artistique program, Olivier created a decoration for the Tr\u00e9port media library in 2013, and in 2018 a decoration for the multi-care center of Grand-Couronne.<\/p>\n
