DUGA is a Belgian artist born in Brussels in 1963. He is an artist of emotion and free expression. However, he followed an academic career (Academy of Fine Arts, Brussels), which served as a basis. Then he emancipated himself from the artistic techniques taught and expressed his instinctive emotions. He paints and sculpts viscerally, in a state of regression. He gives vent to his emotions through different techniques, drawing, painting and sculpture remaining his favorite mediums. Primitive arts, African art, Oceanian art, Amerindian art, “art brut”, children’s art have strongly marked him. He finds his roots there.<\/p>\n
