After graduating from the \u00c9cole sup\u00e9rieure d’art et design Le Havre-Rouen in 1996, he continued his training at the \u00c9cole nationale sup\u00e9rieure des beaux-arts de Paris, graduating with honors in 2002. St\u00e9phane Thidet also studied at the Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten in The Hague, and at the Cooper Union School in New York.<\/p>\n

His multi-faceted work includes sculpture and installation. St\u00e9phane Thidet creates worlds where shifts and side-steps take place. His works present a vision of reality imbued with fiction and poetry. They reveal a certain loss of innocence, a restlessness that, through the permanent state of tension they imply, provoke a fertile inner turmoil.
